Bespoke Software

In addition to our ready to go products, we also undertake bespoke software development.

Many businesses find that 'off the shelf' software packages often do not fit the processes used in the company and that the output from the software (e.g. reports, invoices, quotes) is not exactly what is required. These companies then end up having to adjust their processes to match the software (often introducing inefficiency into the processes) and having to settle for an output that is not exactly what was needed.

We have an extensive background in working with large businesses and small to medium businesses and this experience assists us greatly in understanding the exacting requirements of our customers, whatever size they may be and whichever industry they may be in. We also know that not every business is the same and so we believe investing some time in getting to know your business and processes is key to understanding the requirements of the software to ensure that the output from the software is relevant and adds value to your business.

If we already have some modules that can satisfy some of the requirements then we use these for the application thus reducing development time and cost for our customers.

Platforms

Windows Applications

Our applications are developed using microsoft .net technologies to run on windows based PC's. These applications can be stand alone or network based.

Our database applications are implemented using SQL and are highly scalabale while achieving good performance even over a VPN link.

We can implement solutions of any size and complexity.

 

Microsoft Office Automation

Our team is highly skilled with automating Microsoft Office applications.

If you perform a task manually that is time consuming, we can write functions in VBA so that all you would have to do is click on a button to perform your task.

Typical applications are in data entry and data analysis as well as lookups. We can for example analyse data in a spreadsheet and perform statistical analysis to produce tables, reports and charts.

Embedded Systems

We have developed many custom applications for our clients to run their embedded systems hardware. We work with Micro-Controllers, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI's) to name but a few.

We have experience with integrating access control systems with our embedded systems. We can also link these embedded systems to our windows based applications if required.

 

Mobile Applications

We can write custom applications for your business to run on the windows mobile platform using the .net compact framework.

We are currently working on developing applications for the iPhone and Blackberry devices.

Our mobile applications can be linked to our windows applications if required so that users can access information on the go.
